Our focus is art — we have multiple platforms, events, conferences, video courses, newsletters and magazines all about art and painting. We’re on a mission to teach millions of people who would never believe they could paint or draw — even if they currently have zero talent and can barely paint a stick figure!
Note: Not an artist? Not a problem — most of us on the team aren’t! That said, you’ll have complimentary personal access to hundreds of our online courses if you want to learn to paint! 😉

What will you do in this role?
Every day will be different but generally you will be responsible for three (3) key areas:
1. BUILD / DESIGN / UPDATE
– Build landing pages, webinars, and membership sites to promote our events and product launches;

– WordPress, Shopify, and ClickFunnels website design (via premium off-the-shelf themes) and content updates, including full site launches and redesign(s) as necessary;

– Manage all steps for page launch, including the setup of ecommerce products, lead gen forms, tracking scripts, and more;

– UI/UX optimization to create a seamless brand and user experience, aligning with brand guidelines, the overall web strategy, and site architecture;

– Optimize web pages for conversions, site speed, SEO, and accessibility;

– Contribute innovative ideas for lead generation, funnel conversion tactics, and opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling;

– Other projects as assigned.

2. MEASURE
– Help the Marketing team collect, review, and report on various metrics;

– Monitor site performance and website traffic, irregularities, issues, trends, and opportunities;

3. SUPPORT
– Providing general assistance within the Marketing team, including internal technical support, troubleshooting, etc.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $45,000.00 – $65,000.00 per year

Qualifications

Have 3 – 5+ years experience in a hands-on web design, freelancing, or digital marketing role;

  • Experience with either ClickFunnels, WordPress, Shopify, or similar tools;
  • Experience with a graphic editing app like Photoshop or Canva;
  • Experience with email marketing software (ActiveCampaign, MailChimp, HubSpot, or similar tools);
  • Working HTML & CSS knowledge;
  • Demonstrable skill with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics;
  • Have availability during regular business hours (8:30am – 5pm) for maximum cross-over with the rest of our team;
  • Prefer the fast-moving chaos of a small entrepreneurial business vs. a slow corporate bureaucracy;
  • Have a true passion for marketing — proven experience working on a marketing team and within digital marketing campaigns and events is a HUGE plus;
  • Work well and efficiently under time pressure and welcome feedback + last-minute revisions;
  • Get excited about occasional sprint weeks for projects such as online events and conferences;
  • Enjoy the opportunity to travel occasionally for company events and on-site meetings.

What will you do in this role?

Every day will offer new opportunities to showcase your creativity and technical skills. You will focus on three (3) key areas:

1. PRODUCTION & MANAGEMENT

Schedule guest artists to appear on our podcasts (PleinAir Podcast & Art Marketing Minute) and daily live YouTube show (Art School Live), coordinating with talent from around the globe;
Manage the video stream and technical aspects of our daily live YouTube show, ensuring a professional and seamless viewing experience;
Produce engaging videos for our YouTube channel, focusing on content that educates, entertains, and encourages interaction and sharing;
Implement strategies to grow our YouTube channel, turning it into a key acquisition channel that drives our business forward;
Create eye-catching and engaging thumbnails and promotional graphics;
Other projects as assigned;
2. ENGAGEMENT & GROWTH

Utilize analytics tools to track the performance of our podcast and YouTube content, identifying trends, opportunities for growth, and areas for improvement;
Develop and execute strategies to increase subscriber numbers and viewer engagement, working closely with marketing to align these strategies with our overall brand goals;
Foster a community around our content, engaging with comments, and encouraging participation from our audience;
3. INNOVATION & COLLABORATION

Stay on top of the latest trends in art, podcasting, and YouTube content creation, bringing innovative ideas to the table that can enhance our offerings;
Work collaboratively with the marketing team and other departments to ensure our content supports wider company campaigns and initiatives;
Undertake other projects as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to contribute wherever the team needs;

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000 – $45,000 per year

Qualifications

You ideally…

– Have 3+ years of experience in digital content creation, with a strong portfolio showcasing successful podcast and YouTube projects;
– Possess technical proficiency in managing live video streams (Ecamm / Streamyard / etc) and producing high-quality video content;
– Be skilled in using video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro) and graphic design tools (e.g., Photoshop, Canva);
– Have experience with analytics platforms (e.g., YouTube Analytics, Google Analytics) to measure performance and inform content strategies;
– Be available during regular business hours (8:30 am – 5 pm) for maximum collaboration with our team;
– Thrive in the fast-paced environment of a small entrepreneurial business and prefer it to a slow corporate bureaucracy;
– Have a genuine passion for art and digital media, with a desire to make art accessible and engaging to a global audience;
– Work well under pressure, welcome feedback and revisions, and be excited about contributing to projects with tight deadlines;
– Enjoy the opportunity to travel occasionally for company events and on-site meetings;

Required Tools:

– A dedicated laptop or desktop computer that will comfortably run the latest version of Mac OS or Windows (and any necessary software) without skipping beat;
– Consistent high-speed home internet access;
– A smartphone for on-the-go communication and content management;
